Measuring How We Help Families Pack Light and Travel Happy
While our recent name change to BabyQuip has us looking ahead to our future growth—and your future travels—we recently took a minute to look back at all the ways we’ve come along for the ride on your family vacays.
In two quick years, BabyQuip both introduced baby gear rental as an exciting new gig economy category and emerged as the leading, most-trusted brand doing this work. So far, our amazing Independent Quality Providers have rented more than 40,000 baby gear items to families traveling to hundreds of destinations in the US and Canada. Yay! That was fun.
We liked those numbers, but something was missing…
Wondering what the service has been like for our littlest customers, we crunched some other numbers—looking at how our baby gear was likely to have been used by your babies. We love these numbers! Have a look.
525,000 Sleep-Like-A-Baby Hours
Total hours babies have slept in cribs and pack ‘n plays provided by BabyQuip.
Our mantra for this is pretty simple: When your baby sleeps well on vacation, your entire family gets to rest, relax and recharge. A full-size wooden crib, just as cozy as the one at home, can be a vacation game-changer.
3,000 Sudsy Smiles
Total number of baths taken with bath gear rented from BabyQuip.
Rub a dub dub, your vacation days often start, or end, with a little one in the tub. Keeping your baby safe in an infant tub, and your older kiddos playing and laughing their way through bath time, is key. Who knew baths could be one of the most playful parts of a family getaway?
285,000 Buckled-Up Vacay Miles
Total number of miles babies traveled in car seats provided by BabyQuip Independent Quality Providers.
Whether a BabyQuip Quality Provider met you at the airport with your baby’s car seat or brought one to your accommodation, chances are you got safely out and around your vacation destination with your baby happily sitting in a squeaky clean, quality car seat. That’s the point, right? See the world (safely) with your littles!
300,000 Once-Upon-A-Times
Number of times kiddos have read a book from a toy or book package provided by BabyQuip.
Sticking to some at-home routines while traveling helps your young children relax and settle in. Does your toddler commonly read books while you run through your morning chores? Or do you always read your kids a bedtime story as part of the winding-down routine? Stick with your literary schedule while traveling too. Book (and toy) packages have made for some very easy inside time on many happy family vacations!
40,000 Family Miles Strolled
Total number of miles babies have covered in strollers rented from BabyQuip.
Whether exploring Central Park in New York City, Banff National Park near Calgary, or even the Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona, BabyQuip has provided super clean strollers so your youngest sightseer can be comfortable and safe on your daily adventures.
If you’ve rented from BabyQuip, well hey, thanks for trusting us to tag along on some small part of your family vacation. We hope it was fun for you. If you’re thinking of renting baby gear for an upcoming family vacay, rest assured, BabyQuip has you, and your littlest family members, covered!
