Preparing for a family vacation to Magic Kingdom with toddlers doesn’t have to be hectic and stressful. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is extremely kid-friendly and wants to accommodate families as much as possible by offering a wide variety of restaurants, rides, shows, and more. You can even bring in your own food and snacks! Below is a quick list of tips and Magic Kingdom park information to help you plan your upcoming (and exciting) trip with young children.
Park Tickets
First things first: how much are tickets at Magic Kingdom with toddlers? We can’t give you an exact cost because ticket prices vary depending on the day and season that you are planning to visit. If you are planning to visit Disney multiple days in a row, that changes ticket prices too, in a good way! Disney claims that guests can save $20 per ticket if they buy tickets for a 3-day or longer trip. Fortunately, if your toddler is under 3 years of age (or will be turning 3 during your trip), they are free!
What to Bring
Determining what to bring to Magic Kingdom with toddlers depends on your unique and adorable toddlers. Take time to make a list of things to bring with you that will help make your Disney vacation run as smoothly as possible. For potty training or newly-trained toddlers, we recommend having them wear pull-ups while at the Disney park. Some weather-dependent items to consider bringing include a stroller rain cover, stroller fan, and umbrella. If your toddler is sensitive to noises, bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones isn’t a bad idea. Disney also allows parents to bring their own food and drinks, so you can fill that with snacks, pouches, and more.
Strollers
Strollers are pretty much an absolute must if you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom with toddlers. Thankfully, Disney is well prepared and offers a ton of rental strollers for parents who would rather not bring their own. Here is what they offer:
- Stroller (1 child; 50 lb max): $15 per day, $13 for multi-day use
- Double Stroller (2 children; 100 lb max): $31 per day, $27 for multi-day use
If you prefer to bring your own stroller, that is fine! Just make sure it is no wider than 31” and no longer than 52”. Also note that stroller wagons are not allowed in the park.
Another option is to rent a stroller from a BabyQuip Quality Provider. A BabyQuip QP will deliver a stroller to you and pick it back up when you’re done using it.

My Disney Experience Mobile App
Downloading the Disney Experience app before going to Magic Kingdom with toddlers is a must! It is a super all-in-one app that gives you quick access to park information, like where the nearest restrooms or Baby Care Centers (with toddler-friendly restrooms) are. You can also track wait times for experiences and rides, make dining reservations, order food, and more! Since you’ll already be lugging around all your toddler’s things, having all Magic Kingdom info in one mobile app is much needed.
