Founded in 2016 by parents who believed family vacations could be more restful, memorable and fun, BabyQuip addresses a common family travel challenge. It's nearly impossible to carry little ones through crowded airports while also lugging all the bulky baby gear necessary to enjoy a comfortable, home-like experience when traveling.

Independent Quality Providers (QPs) are the face of BabyQuip! They rent, deliver and set up clean, safe and insured baby gear at hotels, Airbnbs, vacation rentals and private residences. They can even meet you at the airport!

BabyQuip QPs are gig-economy moms, dads, retirees or best friend teams who enjoy our fun, flexible pathway to entrepreneurship. Quality Providers are motivated to launch and grow their own business, solve a real travel problem and help other families. Everyday BabyQuip customers tell us how QPs have come to the rescue to save their family’s vacation.

While it is a lot of fun, we take safety, cleanliness and customer service seriously. Quality Providers are required to complete extensive training on equipment safety before they begin renting baby gear. They are taught how to properly clean items to ensure every family is able to experience safe and spotless items. They learn to monitor baby equipment recalls and are taught to check their gear after every order, and again before it goes out to the next customer. They are professional, reliable and trustworthy.

Well that was fun! Even though we didn’t walk away with a deal, BabyQuip’s Shark Tank appearance will dramatically increase awareness of BabyQuip and the baby equipment rental category as well as the opportunity for people to become BabyQuip Quality Providers. It was well worth the time and considerable effort.

Now that Shark Tank has aired, we can also share that we've raised $850k from nearly 100 individual investors on SeedInvest (an equity crowdfunding platform) and from current investors of the company. Since the Shark Tank filming, we’ve expanded—now in over 1,500+ markets with over 2,000+ Quality Providers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Australia & New Zealand. We've also served over 250,000 orders and customers continue to tell us we “saved their vacation.” Our plan is to expand the business into new markets and services and pursue new partnerships.
