Thoughtful with Book Choices, but Could Communicate a Bit More about Delivery/Pick-up
“I rented books and a pop-up kid's camping set from Chloe and Alan. I will say I was slightly dissappointed in the communication, but that may just be because I have had experience with another Babyquip provider who was much more communicative. They did message, but not quite as early as I would like as it made me start to wonder a bit if the things were actually going to be dropped off and picked up (but I also could have reached out earlier myself). They were running behind when dropping off the items. I had requested an 8 to 10 am drop-off window and they messaged me around 9:30 am saying they were running late and it would be between 11 am and 12 pm that the items would be delivered. I checked in a little after 12 pm as the items had still not been delivered and I had not heard anything more from them. The items were not actually delivered until around 12:30pm. It was not a big deal as what I was renting were not the most essential items and thankfully we were not on a tight schedule. I understand running late, but I would have appreciated a little more communication. The tent set is a great value as you get a lot of things for a small price and my kids absolutely loved it. I will say that it didn't perfectly match the picture - some items pictured were not there, a few things not pictured were added, and there were double of a couple things (which is great when you have 2 kids). I could tell they were thoughtful with picking out the books. They really followed what I said my kids liked well and provided some books by their favorite authors as well as other books that fit their interests. Drop-off and pick-up were really easy - they just left the stuff outside our door and sent us a picture showing us where they were and that they were delivered, and then I just left the stuff outside the door for pick-up. Overall a decent experience. Communication and drop-off timing could have been improved a bit though. ”
