HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DO NOT USE THIS PERSON
“I’ve been a loyal BabyQuip customer for 7 years, and they’ve always been fantastic—until now. This experience was unacceptable. Our kids are 7 and 5, and we only needed a few items: a baby monitor, step stool, sound machine, books, and toys. I booked weeks in advance, but the day before our trip, our order was inexplicably switched to another provider. In the past, providers would communicate, ask about our kids’ ages, and confirm preferences. Not this person. She didn’t reach out once. ZERO communication. I had to escalate the issue to corporate just to get a response. Even then, she couldn’t confirm our order or tell me what items she planned to provide. Now let’s talk about what we received. Despite specifying that our kids are 7 and 5, she gave us baby toys and books meant for infants—none of which were what we requested. The only items she got right were the baby monitor, step stool, and sound machine. Because of her incompetence, we had to go out and buy toys ourselves so our kids would have something to do for the week. I requested a refund for the toys from BabyQuip, and they never even bothered to respond. After 7 years of loyalty, using their services multiple times a year, this is how they treat their customers? To make matters worse, I don’t understand why I was switched to this provider. Her other reviews are terrible, and the one positive review is suspiciously vague and likely fake. This person is unprofessional, unreliable, and completely unfit to provide services. Honestly, BabyQuip has lost my trust. They’ve clearly stopped vetting their providers, and it shows. If you’re considering using them, think twice. There are other companies out there—this experience proved it’s time to explore those options. Never came to pick up; never responded
“we rented the toddler foldable mattress which looks nothing like the picture shown. the measurements are extremely small (my two year old’s feet were hanging off). the mattress was a little under 2 inches thick and not comfortable at all - my toddler didnt want to nap on it (what we’d rented it for). my primary complaint is we were charged a 75$+ delivery fee (probably 5x what the item itself cost), and Shirley never came to pick up the item nor responded to me about the pick up after being contacted several times. overall poor service, poor quality, and value. ”
