To ensure everyone has a fantastic and safe time, please follow these simple rules when using the IGLU Soft Play equipment

1. Adult Supervision is Key:

• Constant Supervision: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while using the soft play equipment.

2. Age and Size Appropriateness:

• Recommended Age: This soft play equipment is designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years old, though this will depend on the specific items rented. Any age or size restrictions for specific items will be notated.
• Size Matters: Ensure children using the equipment together are of similar size and developmental stage to prevent accidental bumps or injuries.

3. Equipment Use:

• No Shoes Allowed: Please remove shoes before entering the soft play area to keep it clean and hygienic. Socks are recommended.
• High heels will damage our mats and result in replacement fees!
• One at a Time on the Slide: Only one child should be on the slide at a time. Wait until the landing area is clear before sliding.
• Slide Feet First: Children should always slide down feet first, never headfirst.
• No Roughhousing: Gentle play is encouraged. No pushing, shoving, wrestling, or rough play that could lead to injuries.
• No Climbing on Walls or Netting (If Applicable): Climbing on the outer walls or any netting is not permitted.
• Ball Pit Etiquette: No throwing balls outside of the ball pit. Do not bury other children in the ball pit.
• Inspect the equipment: Before use, ensure the equipment is in good condition and properly assembled. Report any damage to us immediately.

4. Food, Drinks, and Other Items:

• No Food or Drinks: Food, drinks, and chewing gum are not allowed on the soft play equipment to prevent choking hazards and maintain cleanliness.
• Remove Sharp Objects: Please ensure children remove any sharp objects, jewelry, or accessories that could cause injury or damage the equipment.
• No Toys Inside: Please leave other toys outside the soft play area to avoid tripping hazards or damage to the equipment.
• No Face Paint: Be sure to clean those faces as the equipment can be stained easily which will result in additional cleaning or replacement fees

5. Respect the Equipment and Others:

• Proper Use: Use the equipment as intended and follow any specific instructions provided.
• Be Kind: Encourage children to be kind, respectful, and to take turns with other children.
• Clean up spills immediately: to avoid making the equipment slick or stained

6. Capacity and Time Limits:

• Recommended Capacity: The number of children on the equipment at once should be limited based on the size of the items rented. A recommended capacity for each item will be notated on its page. Avoid overcrowding.
• Take Turns: If there are many children, encourage them to take turns to ensure everyone gets a chance to play.

7. Health and Safety:

• Feeling Unwell: Children who are feeling unwell, have a fever, or any contagious illness should not use the soft play equipment.
• Report any incidents or concerns: Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or concerns about the equipment to the supervising adult or directly to us.
• First aid: Familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest first aid kit, if one is available at your venue.
