Why I like it: These are the curtains that we got for our own daughter while traveling. She loves a dark room and I needed something that would help me avoid using painter's tape and black trashbags over the windows. I do like that the suction cups make it easy to install/uninstall and easy to adjust to the right fit. I like that the velcro goes around the entire drape so you can move the suction cups to make sure the drape overhangs the window and blocks light leaking in from the sides. I also like that I am not using trashbags, and no matter what, it makes the room much darker than it would have been without them. We travel with them always. This is also a great thing if you are planning to road trip around Colorado with the family - they pack up light and small, so they won't take up too much space in the car.

Some things to consider: While these do a pretty decent job, though I have to say, I have not gotten a perfectly dark room. Consider how many windows you have in the room (if you can ask your VRBO, hotel, or Airbnb) because you can only cover about two windows with these. And, they don't work on every window - for example, if the window is one that has the screen on the inside, then the suction cups won't work. In that instance I hung it over the bar for the drapes and it still helps.

So, while not perfect, I still recommend them and I still use them every time we travel.
