There are so many fun snow activities to do in Colorado as a family. You can go sledding, tubing, snowshoeing, or have s'mores over a bonfire in the snow. You can go biking with a fat tire bike, make snow forts, and have massive snowball fights. Some of my favorite memories of being a kid growing up here involve being in the snow with my family.

BUT... snow gear is A LOT. It is bulky, it is expensive, and kids outgrow it so fast. Also, if you are new to cold weather gear, trying to figure out what you need to have to keep yourself warm and dry in the snow can be overwhelming.
