Good quality of items, but not so good customer service
“We rented a couple of beach carts and a blow up mattress for our vacation. The quality of products was very good and very clean, everything was like new. However, I was a bit disappointed with the customer service we received. We stayed at a condo that had previously told us on multiple occasions that we MUST be present for delivery of any rental items or risk having them thrown out. Because of this, several rental companies will not deliver to this location or only deliver during the hours of about 10am-3pm which did not work well for us based on our arrival time and checkout time. This was my first time using baby quip and when we saw that Caroline offered delivery between 10pm and 12am and pickup time between 8am and 10am we thought this was the perfect solution to our problem. However, a couple of days before our arrival, Caroline reached out requesting a much earlier delivery time on our day of arrival. Despite me saying that the condo does not allow this and we have been told previously that items would be thrown out, Caroline insisted it was “fine” and she had delivered to this location before without occupants being present. I was not comfortable with doing this due to our previous experiences at this location and did not want to risk either having items thrown out or not being allowed to rent from this condo building again if we didn’t follow their rules. Caroline was very persistent and I felt a bit bullied by her insisting that she could deliver earlier without us there. Ultimately the items were delivered later in the evening (around 9:30pm) when we arrived at the condo. On pickup day, despite selecting a pickup time between 8am and 10am, Caroline did not reach out to confirm pickup. I reached out around 9am and ultimately had to leave the items behind as the pickup people did not arrive by our departure time of just before 10am. I likely won’t be using this service again due to this experience. If you allow people to select these delivery times and pickup times, then you should follow the request of the reservation and not bully people into changing what was put on their reservation. ”

Do yourself the favor of renting the essentials, and add a few extras to keep the kids entertained!”
