Amenity Limitations
If you are staying in a hotel without a proper kitchen, a bottle sterilizer is a great item to consider renting. It’s small, easy to use and effectively kills germs.
Distance to Baby
If an Airbnb or short term rental is in your future travel plans and baby will be in sleeping areas a room or two away, rent a baby monitor. Monitors are also great if you plan to enjoy some outdoor time while baby is napping or sleeping.

Hotel, Short Term Rental & Private Residence Safety Tips
Make sure all electrical outlets are covered and plugs have child proof covers.
Rent a play yard to keep baby safely contained and away from potentially hazardous hotel items.
Use cabinet locks or latches to keep dangerous, sharp or heavy objects out of baby’s reach.
Don’t use hotel cribs for baby. They are often not up-to-date with the www.cpsc.gov product recalls.
Only use pressure mounted baby gates at the bottom of stairs or between doorways.
If your baby monitor or video monitor is corded be sure to keep the cords out of curious little one’s reach.
