It has plenty of space for baby to nap or play, because sometimes mom and dad need both hands free. The compact fold and carry bag make it easy to toss in the trunk and take along for the ride.

Why I like it: I enjoy the versatility - that it can be a bassinet but then during the day, it can be used as a safe play yard for the little one. Or, without the bassinet, it is a great sleep and play space for the older babies. The mattress is very sturdy. I like the bassinet function because when my baby was smaller, I hated putting her all the way down on the floor of the pack n' play while traveling because she always startled awake. If you're baby is still small enough (always follow manufacturers guidelines), then the bassinet insert lessens the drop from your arms to the sleep surface. The assembly and tear down took me a bit to figure out (there are buttons under the fabric in the middle of each side that you have to kind of push on to get released and tightened), but I will set it up and tear it down for you, so you don't have to worry much about it! It does pack up into a nice carrying bag. It is heavier, though, than say the Baby Bjorn or Newton pack n' plays. The rocking part kind of made me laugh. You add two bars to the bottom of it to basically make the pack n' play off balance. So yes, it does rock side to side, but not the way you would expect a full bassinet to do. It'll get the job done, I just want to help manage expectations.

Overall, this is a great, functional pack n' play that I would gladly use with my own daughter.
